Sorry if this has been covered somewhere, but I did a search and couldn't find anything relevant. During the midweek phase of the game, would there be any benefit to choosing fewer plays that the team has less knowledge of? My theory being the team spends more time on those plays. My current known plays don't match my personal well, as the team was AI last two seasons.

No, JDB has stated (somewhere, not sure where) that you receive no benefit from having less plays activated during the "midweek phase". Thus it's in your best interest to have a full playbook during "practices".
Your players won't spend extra time on your plays if you have less than the max. You receive the same amount of play knowledge (per play) regardless.
The only thing that happens during midweek stages is you can sign/cut players without having the roster limit enforced. The practice is simulated immediately before the games are played, so there is no advantage to working on your game plan before or after the midweek sim, and selecting plays before the midweek stage and then changing them afterwards has the same result as if you just made the final selection before the midweek stage.
I think it would be cool if the injuries changed at the midweek sim. So if a guy is getting rehab during the week and is better you can play him but if he's still struggling you can sit him. It just seems there could be more involved in the midweek sim other than roster moves. just a thought
Again, Thanks. I was trying to do this too. I guess I'm grasping at any idea to get a set of plays more in line with my talent. Guess it's just gonna take a season or two.

well bryson the only way that could work is if JDB made the inactive player thing have a better job like if you were to put the player on inactive player during the midweek that it would act like REHAB. If that were to happen you can pretty much be certain that people would put their players as a inactive player instead of rolling the dice in the hopes the player doesnt get hurt WORSE.
