Seen enough of the picks that don't make sense at all.
Losing interest fast when there isn't enough time to make ALL of the necessary changes to get a pick in.In my case (this time), I had a Family emergency and couldn't finish up setting my round.
So, in turn it drafted a DT in the 2nd when I already had 4 on the roster....
That's BS considering any FF League I ever played in has common sense to draft a position of need, and a top rated player at that in it's auto queue.
I'm not the only one who see's this and who's been through it. It needs to be fixed-

My auto draft queue in 19 before I started manually setting the draft had 4 terrible TEs at the top of it. The only common theme was that they were low Vol players.

I get it, we can set the Queue. I really get it. I do.

But in the 3rd Round my Team in MFN-73 took a Max 42 DT.

There were 70s, to include at DT, available. There were any of 100 other Non-Kickers the computer could have selected that would have been better.

It's ridiculous.

A Drunk Ray Farmer wouldn't draft as poorly as the computer does for us.

This seems to work for me so far, I'm away most of the time now and drafting a player that I actually need is just hideous, so now I have my draft auto pick set to 100 for every single position other than kickers and need set to zero, so far its pretty much taken BPA, but this is not bullet proof.

I don't really have an issue with my own team's draft picks.

I understand that if I fail to set the manual queue, or at least setup the auto queue, and therefore allow the Ai to make the decision about who to draft...an awful pick will be made.

There is no question about it.

If this happens, it's my own fault because I have had the entire early FA stage to get those two areas set up.

My issue is with Ai controlled teams. I don't recall the last time I saw an Ai controlled team make an even remotely decent draft pick. This puts whoever takes over the team in a big hole right from the start, and will probably lead to another owner not sticking around very long.

If you let the Ai make your draft pick, you are not taking the chance the pick will be bad, you are guaranteeing it.

Yeah I planned my draft early, and at night I would redo my queue according to how the draft went. This system is probably one of the better systems for drafting as it gives the GM SO much time in between picks and only conducts 1-2 rounds a day. I do agree with you though that in the limited time I have been here, it seems that teams without owners get completely screwed over in the draft. I wouldn't mind seeing it fixed for those teams, but the thing is, if we do it for the AI teams, then GMs will want that same update for themselves.

With these issues, I don't see how you all do allocation drafts! Lol

I set a draft board with ~200 players at a time. ;)

I worry about the first 15-20 rounds and then stop caring. Only for training camp to make my entire draft look like **** ;)

Too time consuming to set up every single round in one shot, period.
Jeez.....how much time do some people have on there hands to set up every draft for the 10+ teams they own?
There are SOME OF US who aren't afforded that luxury with 3/4 teams.
Like I will mention again! I COULD NOT be behind the PC for a round, but I was....Had an emergency and had to drop everything I was doing. The auto queue NEEDS work...
