I have a legitimate complaint when 5 times as many penalties are called on my squad than my opponenent and it costs me a playoff game. This is is the 3rd or 4th time this season that my same squad has had close to double digit penalties called on it. Any suggestions as to why? It don't happen in my other league, just in one of them.

You've got a lot of players with low discipline.

That is supposed to be involved in penalties.

Of course, there's always the "bad dice rolls" excuse also.

It mostly seems random to me, I've been on both sides of it. I remember playing a WarEagle team once in a title game where he had a pretty experienced squad and ended up getting called for 12 penalties versus 1 or 2 for my team.

Lol, I won't ever use the "bad dice roll'' excuse, because I don't wanna seem like a sour loser. I got beat, it happens. But I have noticed that when I get beat its usually because of tons of penalties. I never get penalties when I crush some team like 50-7. It only seems to happen at the worst times possible in close games or important. Lol, I will be hardcore checking my teams ratings.

Here are the weights currently for determining whether a penalty is called between one player and another:

8% fatigue
8% experience
84% discipline

This is scaled to a base probability, so if you have a 100% score above (completely fatigued, zero experience, and zero discipline) the player will have a 25% probability to commit a penalty. There also has to be a penalty-producing event to have this get calculated.
