Can you make it so that the draft board that is generated for your team will default to best player available (except for kickers and punters), regardless of position. So many times, CPU or an owner not paying attention will draft a scrub FB or a kicker/punter when there are way better players available, just because they don't have enough players in that spot. It just seems so unrealistic and gives late first round picks much higher value than there really should be.

You can do this now by setting your auto-draft settings.
If for some reason I can't be in the war room when I draft, I always manually select several players that, in a worst case scenario, I'll get a decent player and not have the AI select. I always pick at least 10 just in case. If not more.
I understand that you can adjust the settings and that ideally, you should set your draft board yourself. I just think that rather than everyone having to adjust the settings, it should just be set to default to best player available. That way we won't have CPU/inactive teams drafting 75 peak running backs when there are 95 peak players, or the teams drafting kickers/punters due to need. Right now, in leagues with CPU/inactive owners, a draft pick in the 15-20's might as well be the same as a top 10 pick in a fully active league.
B PA is a set by weights and open roster spots. Have no open spots and weights that value skill positions. The combo of these two will ignore unwanted early picks. One allocation picked like six WRs in a row for me.
I have speed set too high for O linemen right now so my teams pick them too high, but as long as my rosters are balanced the AI is fine.
The trickier thing would be to have the AI pull out boomers. That I can only do manually.
I made the playoffs with a completely AI team. No scouting games either .no substitutions for injuries all AI. Heck there were some questionable choices but the only error was a WLB at kicker.
We finished second in points allowed . So the AI stinks, but using no rules at all one could say some rules winners use all the time should be incorporated in to the AI. That's my only change I wish the AI had. One such that could be set with a slider.

You also have about 30 seconds to edit the auto drafter to ensure you don't draft a P/K/FB .. lol

Seriously though, the draft AI needs a major overhaul. In Cust22, a CPU team just drafted 3 punters in the first 4 rounds. It's absolutely ridiculous.
