Copying a thread on waivers here so it doesn't get lose in the shuffle: https://cust10.myfootballnow.com/community/thread/1/3159?page=1#21402

Then after the team with the worst record makes their pick, then the team with the second best record should have priority. If the team with the second best record ONLY put a waiver request in for the best player, then they forfeit their claim and it should go to the next team that put in a claim for the second best player should get it, and so on until it returns to the team with the worst record. Chipped wrote: For such a procedure to be implemented properly though, teams will need to be able to rank their waiver acquisitions for each week. The worst team which put in a request will get their first ranked request, then each team subsequent team (in order of worst record) will get their highest-ranked still-viable request. The cycle repeats when all teams with requests have made one request or have run out of viable requests. The waiver wire is pretty pointless if the worst team can get all the players provided it has sufficient cap space. |

Totally agree, this is a potentially game breaking issue that should be fixed asap.

This would basically allow tankers to build the best possible team of released free agents and play the next season with a stacked team.

I think the Waiver Wire is only during the Season... In the Pre and Post Draft FA I think it's still the same old system.
Who, in the Regular Season, cuts Top Players? What League are you guys in where the Good Players are getting cut during the Season? What SOULD be available on the Waiver Wire is the guys at the BOTTOM of the Roster that get cut to make room for another generally bad Player at a Position of Need. Are people cutting Top 5 Players in the Season, for them to reach the Waiver Wire? |

A team was taken over, several of their top players were cut, and then the "owner" abandoned the team. |

So that's obvious Collusion, in which both parties will be banned and the League will likely be rolled back to the point prior to the obvious Cheating. Which is why you should have reported this as Collusions instead of complaining about how the Wire works. You FINALLY catch some red-handed collusion... and instead of exposing the Cheaters you instead gripe about the new feature. Go figure. |

This thread isn't about whether this is a game-breaking feature or not; the thread is about a feature that was implemented contrary to expectations. |
