Only chance I have of doing that is to do what happened to the old world cup after England won it in 66.

Quit looking at my team, lol

haha funnily enough I wasn't this time!! 3 others....you're 4th in line ;)

Ouch, the Tigers have fallen to fourth on jhart's power rankings. I hate to think where that puts the Ironborn...

To answer your question, it's usually to give that player experience at the other position. Once I have a player on the o-line at 100 XP at his "natural" position, I then immediately swap them to a position they haven't learned yet. That way if injuries hit I can retool my o-line on the fly without a huge hit to their performance from lack of XP.

Ok thanks. Just assumed guard and tackle positrons weren't so interchangeable - From the book I'm reading they all have slight nuances

Re my power rankings: ha ha maybe I should have a thread for these! ! :0

Tackles are taller than guards in which causes them to have longer wing spans which in turn give them a bit better advantage when in come to pass blocking. In other words they have more surface area to get around cause technically you can only block with your forearms. It to help protect that outside edge .

The opposite goes for guards around centers. They around really generally shorter to gain drive leverage during run blocks as thry have another player lined up on the outside edge to help against speed rushes outside.

Here height doesn't matter so your book is right, but those little nuances do not carry over. Mobility to weight might be around really way to regulate or composite those similar nuances . As lighter will be quicker and pass block better vs. A speedy pass rusher.
