When a coach abandons his team and the AI takes over, does that sim team now run the game plans of the previous coach? Or, is there a default game plan that all sim teams run?
I ask because the (winless) Illinois sim team threw 58 passes in its game against my (undefeated) human-coached Minnesota team. That seems out of whack if Illinois was using a default game plan. Only a miracle drive in OT saved the win (after the Illinois kicker had booted a 59-yard field goal, the longest I've ever seen in a game). A few weeks earlier, my team had beaten this sim team, 51-10. https://ncaa2.myfootballnow.com/box/1190

From my experience you can expect a reshuffling from the AI; especially defensively.
Offensively I believe it keeps the play structure intact, however, I wouldn't expect them to run the %s you see prior to the take over. Not scientific but how I approach/see things! |
