I obviously did this wrong before training camp. I moved my drafted C to LG before training camp hoping to get him to boost there instead of C because I have a good C already. Sadly it didnt have him as LG which now kinda kills me.
Is there an official way to move someone to a position to avoid messing up your training camp and draft? |

On the players profile you can change the position. There should be a red button "Change Pos/#" (or something similar)

So my question now isif i move him how will it effect his improvement as a player? HEs a 50/84 Center now. If I move him to a OT/OG position it could drop from to about 37-43 overall with an 80 future rating. He gained +9/+2 from training camp. Would the move even be worth it because of the big overall gap ATM or should I just draft new OL and learn from this mistake? |

the only difference is weight, his short snap and strength should be fine. You can move guys around on the line however you want and they should progress very similarly. A center will trend towards 283 lb's whereas a guard will go upwards of 316. The overall rating is not a big deal, just make sure you keep tabs on his blocking skills as he progresses
