by the luck of the expansion draft my team has a couple of safeties that are in the 80's for man coverage. If I use a 2 deep man they are relegated to zone coverage leaving my cornerbacks who are lower in man coverage responsible for the man coverage.

Is there any basis for switching the safeties to corner in certain formations to take advantage of their better man coverage abilities and move the lessor corners to zone coverage.

I'd take a peek on their player page and see if there is any drop off if they switch position, otherwise I'd say yes.

You might also consider permanently switching their positions to CB if you have a glut of safeties.

in the gameplanning you can set rules for certain plays to include certain players in certain positions.... of course being fairly new i am not certain to the certainty of this however I am certain that a certain person or two will back me up and let you be certain that this can certainly be done.
