Will this be an option or standard throughout the MFN universe?
I always try to keep the code of the engine to match whatever the NFL is doing, it would be across the board.
Where are the bye weeks then? That's been a thing for a while now and would help mitigate issues with injuries during the season.
The full scope of the new CBA is unclear but talks of 2 byes weeks have been discussed to offset a 17th game and extra playoff team. Will that be implemented as well?
Personally, as an owner of multiple teams, I would absolutely LOVE having BYE weeks implemented. Some days when I have 6 or 7 game plans to do, it would be nice to skip one every now and then.
Plus the injury factor. We don't complain about them like we used to, but the clusters are still a problem, so I'm for anything to help alleviate that.
I do want to include bye weeks, the reason they are not there is because when writing the scheduler adding bye weeks created a huge complexity issue that I didn't want to take the time to solve. I figured (and still figure) my time is better spent on other issues than adding a bye week at this time. Hopefully that is something I will add later.
