In the past ive always tried to adjust the sliders in game planning; many I leave as they are and some are adjust slightly here and there.
I have about a dozen rules in place for situational stuff. What do you lot do? Similar? Or do you forget the sliders for offense/ defense and simply set lots of rules?? |

I have written a ton of rules because I don't want to cede any scenario to the AI's flawed logic.
https://usflwfl.myfootballnow.com/community/3/6389?page=1#40775 It takes time. If need be, write one each day until you have a full set. Others may feel like the sliders are good enough. I just want a greater degree of control on the individual play outcomes than the sliders can offer. |

I use both. On offense, I use a blend of sliders and situational rules. On defense, it's all rules.

Thanks both. Much appreciated. I think I might start going with rules because I want to control the plays more. The sliders are restricting me I think because I set the personnel which is great when short passing for instance but then it is wrong emphasis of personnel group for a run play, if you understand me??
Might need to start some spreadsheets up! |
