I'm doing some scouting and I see this screen and I wonder why I have no play familiarity? I've read chatter previously where the sim engine messes with familiarity, have I become a victim? This is not a new league by any stretch (USFL).
That's the 4343 strategy. Somewhat. His was 2 plays. Stream Man OLB Flat Zone or other zone plays where you can't get even one splatter of a red ink dot.

I've read your posts talking about it but I haven't really dug deep into scouting in awhile. Usually I just check 10 plays and move on. How does this affect game play? Does it cause INTs? We won handily and my QB had 7 TD/4 INT, which is within his normal range of outcomes.
Play familiarity runs differently now. Scouting isn't the only thing taken into consideration. Idk how gameplay influences familiarity, but it does. Most defensive plays you use and/or scout have little to no familiarity.
Short answer - Yes. You are a victim. The good part is that everyone is a victim. I've been looking at screens like that since v4.4, if I remember correctly.
Check out the offending plays when you go to scout your next game. If both opposing teams utilize MAN OLB Flat Zone and you've just come off a game with it being streamed at you.... you'll see like a -45% if it's heavily ran or like a -19% if consistently. What it means is you were placed on the wrong side of dice rolls and due to that negative energy you could pick up injuries since you're taking on a powered up zone defense.
That is why when I see AI - I won't let it get me like that. AI is set up like above. If I can utilize the punt block - I wallop AI and move on to the next game.

Could the negative rolls also cause you to throw a **** ton of INT's as well?

Yes, I'm not scientific and I go off feel. I had to create waves and waves of tactics to get around things such as the MAN OLB Flat Zone.
Essentially, if you keep chucking the FL Hitch and PA FB Flat at it over and over with no trickery - you'll get every negative roll possible. You'll hit a brick wall with no positive result. It's ugly and in a 100 injury setting league you'll double compound it with injuries.
