In one of my leagues (just one), for 311 formation, the personnel spot for the left flanking FB is blank (empty?). When I attempt to override it, nothing happens; it just remains blank. The big concern for me here is that I'm assuming (because the spot is blank) there will only be 10 players for that formation. Quite a disadvantage.
EDIT: it is also happening with the 3rd TE (far right) in my Goal Line set for that league (Major League Football) as well. FYI I do have 4 FBs/TEs listed in my depth chart.
if you are dragging and dropping with no fill, perhaps try clearing cache and history? Ive run into something similiar a few times in that although the position is filled appropriately by depth chart, it would not let me drag n drop a new player to that position.

I'm not dragging and dropping, I'm doing it on my phone. Maybe I'll give that a try. Thanks!
the 3.1.1 uses 2 fullbacks. If there's only 1 FB in the depth chart, the system will only pull that 1, and leave the other blank. this holds true across all formats. I can always find my #2 - preferably my #3 TE that i put in the depth chart (edit as the #2) FB. then, if injury occurs or in the case of the 3.1.1, the system automatically uses who I want and properly pulls those players from the depth chart. This holds true for all positions, in all formations.
The less the AI does with one's roster, the more games the user will win.
Good to see folks getting into overs, as when the light goes on about how to use the depth chart to always have the best "next man up" in injury situations in direct combination with override player placement, neat things begin to happen on the field, and more plays begin to work. PS: I won't play MFN on my phone. It's interface is atrocious :) Just wait until you try to adjust a slider!!
