My biggest fear is that JDB is not making these fundamental updates because he can’t. If this is true, then I believe he is operating dishonestly by implying any change could be possible outside of the UI, and I would wonder why haven’t they been made already. Neither look is good but the unwillingness to truly get out in front of these issues by acknowledging the undoubtedly multiple messages he has received or read about them is what really motivates my opinions.

The user base for MFN is incredibly small & incredibly passionate because many have been player for at least 4-5 years.
JDB built something many years ago that has incredible potential but many longterm owners have grown frustrated by the diminished presence & updates by JDB.
I have no problem paying for MFN if JDB actually starts to invest time into fixing many of the issues. The problem is that we haven't seen a significant chance in over 2 years while waiting on a new user interface which basically is a cosmetic fix and addresses absolute none of the issues many have been calling to be fixed for years.
The new user interface has been in development for 14-16 months so even when it is finally complete who knows when, it's gonna be how long before any "real issues" are fixed???
I created & run 2 leagues that are in season 33 & 34 and have remained full for all that time. Considering the fact elite take roughly 64 real days to complete a full season, that means both leagues have existed for at least 6 years.
After the transition to a paid subscription, one of my leagues remains full while the 2nd is down to 14 owners!!!
I add content to both my leagues which means I actively try to keep both leagues fun & entertaining therefore they remain full but the paid model has just about ruined 1 of my leagues.
I love MFN, I'm passionate about MFN and I'm extremely frustrated with MFN!!!
Well, you can only hope for JDB to re-think this nonsense, because otherwise the game is dead.
For example, for me, an important part about sports management games (whether it's a game you actually buy, install and play on your computer - or if it's an online/browser game like this) is long time statistics. So that I can compare my record to the rest of the league, or my players stats to the rest of the league, or certain "generations" of players/teams on my own club against each other.
And that's why I won't quit the one league I have been playing for years, have that aspect practically deleted, and join some other league and start at zero. Especially because of the way this went. I'll rather quit the game. So, I'll continue to play, as long as my league has enough players, hope for new players to join.. and that's it.
I imagine you drooled on yourself coming up with all that.
Frankly, all I really see is you complaining about me.

first step is to learn programming and spreadsheets
then spend about 1500 hours working on putting it all together. probably much more
then you will be able to read the comments on how you arent doing good enough. the ones comparing you to a fraud will make you wonder why its so difficult for people to be thankful for what you have created
As long as it is only UI building and No fixing of the most important bugs, I'm not willing to extend my subscription beyond my legacy credits. And that would be in roughly 5 months.
