Really what would be helpful is if there are some of you guys who would be interested in stepping into a role of sort of 'lay project team' that helps identify and prioritize issues. I know I'm wanting to do that with the game engine, maybe it the UI we could start getting that process ironed out. I would like to participate :) Is there a process of admission involved? |

Thanks for volunteering! I'll be in contact with you and the others who contacted me via PM next week to get things set up. |

Just a heads up in am logged into my MFN acct in 3 devices all at the same time right now (tablet, phone, cube). Not sure if its a big deal but maybe it should not be possible to have multiple logins to the same act at the same time - including within a common (eh household) ip . keep up the great work!

As long as it's all under the same account it's no big deal. Different devices is no different than multiple tabs on one device. I multi tab during free agency and when I do write ups for USFL, keep one page open for box score viewing and one to type my post. Sometimes I'll have a 3rd tab open for game logs. |

PLease have patience with me regarding Discord. Ive got all the info (thank you, JDB). RL stuffs of great importance came up in the fecal matter happens area. I'll get in and catch up this early this week. I intend to focus on interface and sales opportunities. I get goofy sometimes so group members are feel free to PM me about being goofy. I will do my very best in that area.
I can't wait to dive in now that I'm getting caught up! |

I'm blocking off the month of June to deal with any issues that may arise because of this beta preview, so I don't anticipate any forward progress this month. I also wanted to address the questions about the position change limitations. You will be able to see the limitations as you use the preview site. You can go back to the legacy site if those limitations are too restrictive. My plan at this time is to give the league admins the ability to map what positions can be migrated to which other positions; this is not yet implemented in the preview site. The game engine is not adhering to these limitations, so if you don't have a player available due to injury or an empty depth chart position, the engine will make the same selections it has been making. And now the moment we've all been waiting for - here is the link to switch to the beta preview: https://www.myfootballnow.com/switch-to-beta Remember when…. Funny to also look back at subscription forum which was done for development dollars per JDB. How do you fix when a developer has gone rogue and refuses to address key issues that his users are experiencing daily? More dollars?

i dont think thats a fair assessment waitwhut.
I'm not happy with where MFN is TODAY, i made comments elsewhere that detail my concerns. That stated, JDB has been busting his buns Far more than ive ever seen since 2018 and with far more dedication, interaction, and results in the last 12 months than the last 7 years i've witnessed prior to 2025. It's fair to be unsatisfied with everything you expressed regarding the UI/game play. Your opinion on such items are valid. On that we can agree. I disagree with your personal comments about JDB. I'd like to continue to state JDB is doing all a one man band can. As for me, I support all of the progress. I'm very pleased work is being done. The game is in it's biggest upheaval since 2019-2020. The owner has been more active than i've ever seen him to be in all my years playing MFN since 2018. Am I happy with where MFN is right this moment? Absolutely not. 110% with you about the game itself. To deride and decree JDB as greedy, full of false intentions and other implied nefarious implications because of the current game development issues is a step too far for myself. Work is being done, not ignored. Anyway. On your thoughts of fraud, upon your attack of character, I disagree. We are all here by choice. No need to be nasty about it.

I didn’t say fraud, you did. Are you trying to put your thoughts as mine?
Dollars do not make coding, and to this point have not moved this game forward. Effort and clear direction is all that has ever been required. We have stalled for many months now, where have you been? How about those settings defaulting, a lot of progress being made to a NEW and realtime issue impacting multiple owners. How are the dollars not fixing that? How about the month JDB spent updating boxes and borders on new UI? Time well spent months after the release of new UI? How about owners seeing last years draft class? Dollars must not be able to fix this one. My comments are purely intended to point out that without real effort, this is equivalent to throwing noodles at the wall in the dark. I perceive JDB as half in. I also perceive that he had to take on this project but was not prepared or aware of what would be required in actual time - partly due to be unaware of what features and functions were originally layered into the old UI. The subscription model suggests a forward facing model where the objectives and goals are clearly laid out. This has been anything but that. Suggesting otherwise is highly suspect. Love the game. Been logging in for years. Great community outside of a few. My only wish is that there was better foresight, planning and execution. I’ve made that clear in all my comments, my message has never wavered.

Bottom line: We are now stuck with two UIs and both of them are completely broken.
