Noob question. I haven’t played in a very long time, I tried to find this info anywhere but I can’t seem to, for the highest subscription tiers what are all the league customization options? And are there still # requirements before a league starts. I think the last time I played half the league needed to be populated before it actually got started. Sorry if these are dumb questions, thanks.

I know the number of managers restriction was lowered (if not removed completely), but ever since we changed to a subscription membership, a strong majority of owners are limited in how many teams they choose to manage. For this reason a ton of long running leagues dropped well below the halfway mark, or folded completely. Owners chose to keep their most active or competitive leagues, and it is highly unlikely many of them could be swayed to join a startup. You can try if you must insist, but there isn’t a lot of demand out there…

As for the options, you can change the cities and teams, it you still need the 4 divisions of 4 total, I think you can adjust stadium sizes and obviously upload custom logos and colors, but you need to pay for the appropriate subscription level to start the process.

I stil want a 1 team, no ads, full customization subscription.

That said, I can pay all I want regarding customization, but the league admin and the league has to allow me to do it.

I'm not paying for customization until the league admin cannot prevent me from doing it.
If I paid for it, by golly i better be able to do it in ALL OF MY LEAGUES.

Paying for customization does not give customization.
It's a bull pooh carrot and not worth paying for as MFN is this day.
If I'm gonna pay for it, then the league cannot prevent me from it.

Period.

There is no value in paying for access in a system that prevents the access a person has paid for.

I refuse to spend monet for a subscription that some rando admin can deny me what I paid for.

Let me try to bring a little light into this darkness:

You pay for customization in standard leagues. A custom league is lead by an administrator other than JDB who probably paid for this. Now it is the admin's league and he might implement HIS rules including not allowing GMs to do customizations.

I don't allow team customization in USFL but name your players whatever you want.

The original founder of the USFL set the league up using teams from the RL USFL and WFL. Tribewriter did not allow team customization and when I took over, I kept that rule to this day.

One time I did allow an owner to change the helmet logo but it was to improve the quality of the pic and nothing was actually changed regarding the team name.

There is nothing idiotic about that, it's a themed league and we gotta keep the theme.
