The game might already have this, so forgive my suggestion if it is.

Have a tab at the top that when clicked on a page comes up that shows the players who's contracts are up at he end of the season. And the terms of their last contract. Once his team extends him he comes off the list.

It would help with budget planning for the upcoming year, along with assisting with tracking potential FA's throughout the season.

The next version of the game engine will release teams if an owner is absent for 30 days instead of waiting until the end of the season. This is already active in MFN-1.
