One of my better Def players Edward Daily is a WLB and LDE. First choice LDE as I have no others but a better WLB (but 2nd choice I think).
When I click on the Overrides to see what position he is being used in, it shows his name in both positions! I assume he doesn't actually play both positions?!
I tried looking at the video replays to see if it names the players anywhere, but it doesn't.

So, can someone tell me which position he is actually appearing for my team in, and who is replacing him in the other position?

I'm trying to set some Def plays which suit him as he has some good stats for sacks /tackles this season so I figure, play to his strengths.

Looks like he is set as your #1 LDE and #1 SLB .. I don't know how that translates into the game positioning. but I would certainly watch the games and see where he seems to be getting the majority of snaps at ..

I typically set my chart up as if player A is my best WLB, he stays slotted as my #1 WLB no other postions .. I let my backups backup the other positions.

Well he's only 235 lbs, which is about 40 pounds underweight for the average DE in this game. He may zip around tackles for sacks but he's going to get pushed around in the running game. So it's a bit of a tradeoff. You have 2 excellent WLB, I would personally move one of them to MLB.

This is an ASSUMPTION on my part, and an ASSUMPTION only. Proceed with caution.

I would believe if you set John Hingle to WLB, LDE and FS as the #1 on the Depth Chart, that he would actually appear in the order of his Position Details. So assuming he is a WLB who can play FS as his 2nd and LDE as his 5th... he'd be your Starting WLB, as he is #1 on the Depth Chart AND #1 on his personal Positional Value Chart.

The #2 Depth Chart LDE and FS would be Starting at those Positions.

If a player is the first choice for multiple positions in your depth chart it is randomly chosen on each play where he will be.

Is there a way of finding out who is playing in what position at each play? Or do we simply have to assume that we know this from the Overrides tab and seeing who is picked there?

So if Daily is randomly chosen as the LDE, then the next best WLB slots into the WLB position right?

Yes, once a player has been sent in for a play if his name comes up again when sending players out it goes on to the next player in the depth chart.

Is there an order that the coach sends players out? Eg QB then HB then FB etc?
