I have one league where the kicker has 81 accuracy, a 95 snapper and a 98 holder. He's made 100% this year.
I have another league where the kicker has 81 accuracy, a 99 snapper and a 98 holder. At season's end, he's made 80%.
As far as as I can tell from film, rush/pressure isn't an issue.
What other attributes or elements are a factor?

Thanks, parsh. I haven't considered weather, but the snap/hold people are fully realized.
I have another league with 65 snap, 89 hold and the kicker just made 8/8 in a preseason game. I'm inclined to believe those positions actually have nothing to do with it.
Also, a sampling of intel/discipline ratings shows that kickers with sub 50 numbers in those areas reliably make 100% XPs, or close to it, while kickers with 80+ IN/DI may miss often.

Snappers and holders have a very minimal effect, and weather has even less (according to JDB).
Higher rated kickers have a better "chance" of making the kick, but the biggest factor still comes down to luck, or randomness (RNG) as it's called here.
If it were just a random thing, wouldn't the performance normalize over the course of a season? I can see one guy starting hot and another cold, but why does one guy convert 100% and another 80%?

I guess the same reason you could flip a coin and get heads 10 times in a row.
Just pure luck.

Have you ever gotten 10 in a row on a coin flip? I haven't. How about 50 or 60 in a row?

I'm not sure I've ever flipped a coin 10 times in a row.
Obviously for kickers, their skill ratings plays some part in their odds for success. But it seems those ratings don't play as big of a part as randomness does.
I've got 100/100 kickers that miss easy kicks.
It's random enough that I no longer put much importance on having a great kicker.

Ask us Bengals fans about Nugent.. Dude used to be clutch.. That's practically the tale of the last 2 seasons for him!
