The 221 HB Toss Weak has become the new 113 HB Counter / 113 HB Counter Weak. I've been abused by it, and abusing others with it, for the past two or three months now.

The only thing is that it's pretty easy to stop all the running plays out of the 113 set. I've not found a defensive call that successfully slows down or stops the 221 HB Toss Weak on most plays. How are all y'all defending it?

If you didn't realize before this thread that the play was a thing, congrats, now you know.

I haven't used it. I don't recall facing it very often, either.

If it helps stymie the blitz packages, you better believe I'm gonna try it!!

That's what some other players have mentioned as well, so I'm going to be building out rules I guess.

just do what others do and run 30+ times a game ;) , it stops everything

I have seriously considered removing all plays except for the blitz 2 plays and then running a balance in my secondary. Until something is done to stop blitz 2 from destroying OL, I might as well.

I started not marking the blitz 2 at all or just one to see what it does.

Don't worry WarEagle. I wouldn't ever do this. I've actually restricted my calling of blitz 2 plays to obvious running downs.
