You may have exposed a bug in the 3-way wild card tie. I've put it on the list to fix.

There's at least one bug here if he does it that way.
a) if you include Arizona (which you should) there are only 2 common opponents and 3 games for Arizona, not the required 4
b) if Arizona is not considered then Philly has the better record vs common opponents.

It looks like it's bug (a), the common opponents algorithm doesn't get skipped if they haven't all played each other.

So, you consider common opponents before conference record?

My bad, I meant the head-to-head isn't skipped if they all haven't played each other. (for some reason when I saw 'common opponents' in your post my brain translated that as 'head-to-head')

Arizona beat Chicago head-to-head but didn't play Philly. So, with that being the only head-to-head game between the three, one would think Arizona would advance if that was the deciding factor.
