When to renew a player&#039;s contract?

When to renew a player's contract? by GridironGenerals @ 5/12/2017 4:53 pm If I were to renew a player's contract the first season would be the few weeks that we have left. So my question is when do I renew a player's contract so it will take effect next season if the schedule looked like this?: 05/18 2025 League Championship Game 05/19 2025 End of Season 05/20 2026 Early Free Agency Week 1 5/18 or 5/19? Usually when i renew a players contract i do it on the League Championship Midweek. you can renew them during the regular season or during the playoffs MAKE SURE TO DO it BEFORE Free Agency Week 1 of 5 or you could lose a player to someone else. Re: When to renew a player's contract? by WarEagle @ 5/13/2017 6:39 am When you sign a player to a contract it always takes effect during the current season. How much of an impact that has on your cap depends on when during the season they are signed. There are no "extensions" in MFN currently.
