resigning layers in a second year league
by Ragnulf-le-maudit @ 8/10/2017 12:12 pm
In a second year league, almost every player selected in the allocation draft is a future FA. With limited space, i don't know how to renegociate the contracts of my best players.

Some others will probably disagree but here is what I am doing in mine:

Premium positions get the first round of contracts (QB, RB, WR, DB). If you have good ones keep them.

Then start signing your best in the other position groups .. maybe 2 OL, DL, LB.

Good thing is come that first FA week the market will be fairly saturated and maybe you can get some guys back cheap.

Looks like a complete roster overhaul league-wide. It should be fun ! :)

Agree with parish. Also, if you have boom guys sign them in the first year, that way you can lock them in before their rating improve and their contract demands increase.
