Here is a good example of what Ray is saying...

Both these plays happen on long gains and is very unrealistic that a lineman would hold when the ball is 30-40 yards downfield.

One of these took 7 points off the board. The other negated a 1st and goal. These are the penalties that drive me crazy and seem to be happening more and more.

Here is another play from the same game, that although I didn't like it, I can understand the penalty because the hold happens close to where the runner is headed.

The first 2 penalties are game changers...as it was in this game...and I feel shouldn't be happening.
