Hi all! Simple question tonitgh. Does scouting an already fully familiarized play still help ?

Yes You scout your opp most used plays, most familiar, best avg plays to be prepared to recognize it before it happens. What good is it to be 100% familiar with a play if they run it only 1 time in a thousand

There is a boost beyond the regular familiarity when you face a play you have scouted for that game.

You can scout 10 plays each from your opponent's offensive and defensive playbooks.
...and you can run up to 40 plays max on offense; 30 on defense.
I always utilize the full offensive amount and circa 23-25 on defense.
