Took over a team in AFL (second season running), under 2 mil of cap space and the season is coming to a close.
There are some decent players here and of course they are in the last year of their contracts. It would be nice to lock up some of these guys, but with limited cap space I can't do that.
Question: If I were to go over the cap renegotiating now, even during championship week, would the AI force a release of players until I was back under the cap? Was hoping I wouldn't have to bid against the league in EFA.
