When a players busts or booms is it just the attributes that have not yet reached potential (in the blue) that are affected, or can all attributes change (red and blue) ? When drafting players (and in particular the high vol players), how secure are the attributes shown in red? Always thought to check but never have done.......guessing its only the blue attributes that are able to move up and down at training camp but wondering if anyone knows.
The red attributes are locked in and will only go down when the time comes for aging regression. (circa age 29-30 on playmakers and the scale moves to older on linemen and such)

Actually the red attributes can go down as well but usually it’s only a small amount. I usually take pictures of my rookies player cards before and after training camp and I’ve seen it with the red. The blue is dramatic though in comparison

Can the red attributes ever go up?

i think the only time i see the red go up is when the ratings are related to weight gain or loss. I could be wrong though, this is something jdb should chime in on

This. The only static attributes that go up or down after camp are SP and AC because those are tied to weight. It's not until the player starts to slip that the others start to go down. But, to be clear, I've never seen any of the attributes like Courage or Passing Release go down only SP, AC, and ST.
in ncaa we had a qb go #2 in draft with 100 vol bust that had a solid red pass accuracy go down significantly after his first camp. I can't remember the exact number he went down but it was like 5 in accuracy even though his bar was all red when drafted.

I should have clarified my post. I was taking Red in this case to only mean those static, non-improvable attributes.
I have seen dynamic attributes drop after TC. But I have also seen maxed dynamic attributes gain more potential as well. (So a DB with 45/50 M2M jumping to 53/90, etc.)
