I took over a team that is in cap ****. Can someone remind me if I can sign 1 year minimum contracts to fill out my roster?

he has 70 percent chance of retiring.
so basically it screwed up the cap for at least 4 years after he plays just 1 year and if they are really lucky he plays 2 years then that means still 3 years the cap will be screwed for that team.

I did that and traded away picks with bonuses for a shot at some with none.

Raising default speed values to match the fastest at the position would help in the AIs choices.

If I VOID a rookie contract AFTER the draft, but BEFORE TC, do I have to pay the bonus?

no bonus doesn't go into effect until after camp and then you'll see the void option disappear

I've obviously never had to do so before. :)

With how weak draft are now, and my propensity to lose interest after round 2/3. I've had to do it quite a bit more these days.

- On another note, trading the player after you pick them causes you to eat all of the bonus money in the same way as cutting a player.
