Question: If I, say, override a nickel defense set by replacing the nickel db with a LB, does the play selection process see that (or those) plays as "normal" defenses for play selection purposes? Thanks...
You are only changing the players on the field in that formation, all other logic about play selection happens as if you were using your regular depth chart.
