In Gameplan is tallked about different play types.
What's the definitions of short, medium and long in YARDS? In several plays "short" seem to include minus :) = shorter than scrimage. And I GUESS it mean distance FORWARD at the field, NOT the fly distance to reciewer. Corect? |

There is a thread on this forum, but i think the quick definition is 0-5 short, 5-10 medium, 10 to whatever is long.
Yes the distance is measured from the line of scrimmage. |

Corect? from this thread = https://mfn1.myfootballnow.com/community/3/3885 here = setherick wrote: GP Distance Adjustment Speed Set this thing to 0 immediately. This is an interesting idea in theory, but it complicates things so much for the novice game planner. By setting this to 0, you make sure that your Short, Medium, and Long distances stay static. This is extremely important when setting your play matrix. Here's a break down of down and distance for first-third down (here's the official blog post: http://blog.myfootballnow.com/2015/03/short-medium-and-long-what-do-they.html): 1st Short <5 yards, Medium 5-15, Long 15+ 2nd Short <4 yards, Medium 4-11, Long 11+ 3rd Short <3 yards, Medium 3-9, Long 9+ and here = http://blog.myfootballnow.com/2015/03/short-medium-and-long-what-do-they.html |

I recommend new users, and some veteran users, to set the GP adjustment to 0 and leave the values static. If you have time to think through your game plan, I have a post on GP adjustments and values that I recommend. |
