Welcome to the new Beta version of the MyFootballNow website! Please note that while using the Beta website, some features may not work correctly and other features are not complete. Some elements, such as notifications and chat, may act strangely during the time that both versions of the site are available. If you need to return to the old version, click on the button below.
I can't even access my gameplanning module without getting an error message. The depth chart is an unwieldy, godawful mess. I now have to click multiple times to get to places that used to only require a single click.
I was considering leaving MFN prior to this, but this might push me over the edge.

The new IU makes me want to quit, right after I got a new subscription to add teams. :(
Change is impossible right now, because the new UI doesn't work. I am not begrudging the fact that sometimes change is foisted upon me, but I am begrudging the fact that I can't do the things I used to. And now I'm being blamed for not liking this new thing I'm forced to deal with? What a crock!
As I have been saying, you had several months to test, familiarize, and bring up your issues to get them fixed. You chose not to do it, so here we are.

Congrats, warrior! When all is said and done, you might be the only owner left on MFN.
Doesn’t change the fact that the new system does not have all the same functions the old hi had, so no it is not ready, it doesn’t not work, and no delay in “trying” it would have done anything to address it because the complaints were already expressed and not addressed. So bottom line, forcing the beta without support or an adequate public deadline is haphazard, foolhardy, and further display what a disorganized mess this really is. There are roster edits that need to take place to conform to “new” limitations and there is no way to actually do it. Furthermore, if you simply **** off 90% of the dwindling veteran player base you have, kiss your subscriptions and all future development goodbye…

Absolute bull. Vague complaints about not liking the new UI are not helpful, and can't inspire any action on the part of JDB, because they don't provide anything that can be addressed. I have been very carefully laying out all of the issues that I have been finding for months, and imploring others to do the same, and everything that I have laid out has been fixed in a very timely manner. I am very happy with the switch.
Everybody knew that the switch was coming, and that it meant the out of position loopholes would be closed. If you are now left with a team full of nothing but WR's and CB's, many of which are now useless, that is entirely on you. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Enjoy being the only owner left on this platform, warrior. You got your wish. I hope you’re happy.

Your hero has had 10 years to test, familiarize, and bring up our issues to get them fixed. And yet he has for some reason or other not been able to do it. In 0.4.1 you had to get on a wait list to get a team. The game was fun. Then 0.4.2 was released and it was pretty good too but there were some small problems starting to come about. 0.4.3 was another downward trend and then came 0.4.4 and it started the great migration outta here. JDB got tired of answering concerns about the game and went silent. Brought out the nerf hammer and started beating the **** out of MFN with it. He could have fixed the game but HE chose not to do it. So here we are...

Thumbs down warrior
JDB is the brain trust and clearly doesn’t even care for the feedback he got even if vague. Not one time did he inquire to understand what that meant. Beyond that, he clearly did not test AT ALL on his own. Some of this is just glaring.
Let’s also talk about how incentive was robbed when the subscription model rolled out. Prior to that owners probably logged in more frequently and got longer periods which would have only increased likelihood feedback was derived. Self inflicted. Not to mention some of the very talented and informed owners who have left the game because of JDB historical reluctance to maintain-think of all the potential feedback missed by that.
He has zero interest in ideas outside of himself. Therefore owners have zero interest in his. He has shown a history of ignoring issues and not addressing in the most meaningful way ( deleting plays rather than fixing). This is par the course to my understanding and perspective.
Warrioir you are not operating in a vacuum. You’ve been testing what JDB provides. Everyone else was saying it wasn’t even good enough to begin testing. You hear what you want, JDB didn’t want to hear that he needed to go back to the drawing board. And time was not an issue because this game sat on a shelf for longer than he has worked on it.
And the prior complaints were not vague, specific complaints about functionality and how it impacted the rosters and other gameplanning schemes that are KEY to managers actually playing the game were submitted. I’m no fan of the glitches that led down a path toward “positionless” rosters and broken playbooks, but there is absolutely nothing professional or courteous about overnight overhauls without proper OFFICIAL communication.
