I get ALL players in the draft. it shows their position as something like DE (WR) -- and they are really a WR.

Is this just a feature of allocation draft player searches?

That's the way all the player search currently functions. I have a pending update that only shows you players assigns to the position unless you explicitly choose otherwise, no eta but hopefully soon. An alternative you can do now is download the results and open the file in Excel and do lots of filtering and sorting.
