"Drive" Right/Left on pass plays by oldbone @ 11/19/2015 6:19 am Sorry for all the noob questions. Question: For a pass play that lists the RB or FB assignment as "Drive Right/Left", are they actually running a route? Thanks in advance!

"Dive" is a handoff play, basically it means that the hole that the back is running to is close to the center (inside the tackles).
