This really needs to be addressed.
In league 10 through 6 games the leader has 28 sacks, this with a pass rush of 35/53 and an overall of 55/75 Just played a game myself where there was a total of 32 sacks between the 2 teams. I have 4 O-lineman with pass blocking 99 or above and the other is at 85, did suffer an injury and backup came in with a rating of 76 but still not bad enough to give up 17 sacks. http://cust10.myfootballnow.com/box/1489 I had my backup LDE get 8 sacks in the game with a rating of 66/67 pass rush and has 12 in 2 games as a starter filling in.

I guess ALL the leagues are "test" leagues now.

I think the throw away needs to be adjusted more for intelligent QB's but still think the sack numbers would be high. QB's with High INT, Field of Vision just dont act like they have it all when comparing stats against what should be 2nd and 3rd tier QB's. Check downs are pretty much non existent unless you want to count when the QB throws into the mosh pit of Offensive and Defensive players after the QB rolls out.
Its like having high player rating dont make you elite as much as it should, not enough difference in a 75 compared to a 99 for instance. I can see the occasional play where the lesser might get the upper hand but as far as O-lineman vs D-Lineman it doesnt seem to make a difference in pass blocking. The run Blocking seems a lot more realistic. |
