Cust17 a few days ago, so no? Ok, good - this was one of the tweaks in 0.3.2, so I'm curious to hear your feedback once you get into that engine. Punt returns in 0.3.1 were way too strong, so I'm hoping that the updates in 0.3.2 reign that in. Thanks for the analysis and the graphics, I love that kind of stuff from you guys. Due to time constraints I'm usually looking at everything from a macro view, different perspectives and observations are extremely helpful. |

Glad I could solve a problem that has already been fixed lol. I'll keep my eye out for anything else. I checked out a few returns in bleeding edge, and it looks much better.

So are punt returns actually fixed or not? Because I'm tired of wasting my time if they aren't.
Just put together a game where I outgained my opponent by 100 yards, again, and lost, again, because of the janky punt return code: http://mfn19.myfootballnow.com/box/1290 Opponent returned the first two punts for returns because no one could tackle. http://mfn19.myfootballnow.com/watch/1290#249806 http://mfn19.myfootballnow.com/watch/1290#249812 My team's tackling was atrocious all game, but I've been assured that the missed tackle numbers don't really mean anything since assisted tackles are counted as "missed". |

I don't have an issue covering punts.
It's been many games since I've given up a TD return. |

Tackling is probably the biggest problem I have with defense and punt returns currently. The tackling algorithm could be doubled in favor of the defense, and we see more competitive games. |

To be fair, one-on-one tackles are about 50-50 in the NFL and a punt returner rarely gets taken down by the first man. Make sure that your special teams players are suited for their roles. The past few weeks I have seen an improvement in realistic returns, so I am happy.
