If on the last play of a game the offence kicks and makes a game winning FG but the offence is offside the defence should have two choices if I'm not mistaken

1. Decline the penalty and let the points stand
2. Accept the penalty and reattempt the FG

This happened in a sim last night. The FG was not counted and the sim went immediately to overtime.

If there is an offensive penalty on the last play of the game (or half), the penalty is enforced and the half is over (because there is no more time left).

The game (half) cannot end on a defensive penalty. It CAN end on an offensive penalty.

I was just about to post something similar except it wasn't at the end of the game! The field goal team had a holding call which I should've had the option of: declining because they missed the field goal or accepting and making them punt! I would've much rather had the ball at the spot of the missed field goal but my team made them punt and I ended up getting the ball within the 10 yard line smh

You did have the option to decline or accept, and your HC decided to accept (apparently).

It would be nice if we could create rules about when to accept/decline penalties, but alas...
