We basically handed the game to Pitt late in the 4th qtr, ABSOLUTELY no reason to be calling TOs when we up by 3, the clock was our 4th man on the field, not theirs. Fairly annoyed by this loss as knocks us out of PO contention.

wow man - I mean I get why the timeouts were called kinda sorta - thinking that Pitt was in FG range and if they kick the game tying FG that you could possibly get the ball back for 1 last shot. But yeah if a timeout is worth about 20 seconds of clock, there would have been no way that they could have had time to go for the go ahead touchdown like they did.

Touchdown scored at 0:48 on the clock and you burned all 3 timeouts to help them get there. So quick sports math here is 20 seconds * 3 time outs = 60 seconds. 48 seconds left on the clock - 60 seconds = deficit of 12 seconds.

That totally sucks. If Pitt forces overtime by hitting the FG its no big deal but helping them score a TD is the last thing you want to do. Sorry man...

Apologies if it appears I am salting the wound - it is not my intention. When I first looked at the box score, I wasn't sure why you were upset. So I wrote it out hopefully to clarify.
