Injured Reserve List

Was thinking of having a injured reserve list where we could put our injured players on and also by doing so we would take them out of the equation of people trying to either trade for them or trade them to someone else.

You can place a player on injured reserve but only if they are on "out" status. Someone suggested recently that the standard be more related to the number of weeks left, which I think is a good idea - but right now they have to be injured severely enough that the game classifies them as "out" for at least one week.

My thoughts are it a manger game. I would go with NFL rules

Any player how injury recover is projected over 6 weeks can be place on the IR

But only one player can be Return Designation.which means After 8 week that player can come back to the roster.

Food for though

Players on IR still count against salary cap. But not against roster cap

You have to have a player listed as "out". If you do, there will be an option to place him on season-ending IR on the player card.

But I seen players list with injuries that last 6 +weeks
And they can not be place on IR. They should be able for good reason. Even if they are not declared out. But a lasting injury.

Again, you have to have a player list as "out".

If he is "doubtful" for 10 weeks, he is not "out".
