Coach Progression

A couple things that I think might be kind of cool to be added.

Perhaps coaches could progress faster at postions in which they are position coaches, or maybe they progress faster at offensive positions if they are an offensive coordinator. Another thing that might be cool would be if head coaches effected the progression of the coaches hired under them.

yeah I noticed the coaches dont progress really fast at all and sometimes they do the opposite. I had a few *** coaches with the overall going down after a few seasons how can a coach lose his capacity to coach while hes coaching ? he can only be better...

I think Raheem Morris is the example of how a coach gets worse.

lol well maybe hes not a good head coach but his skills didnt go down I mean if he was a good position coach he's not worse now after he coached a team

I mean if Mike Mularkey gets another head coaching job after going something like 5 wins 37 losses...

I have concerns with coaching progression, as well, but have only seen three season in my league. Is there anyone from a more established league who can say whether a young, inexperienced coach will ever become a good one?

Does performance or other factors have any effect, or is progression random?

I really don't pay much attention at all to coaches, because....

The head coach determines your offensive and defensive playbooks.

Other than that, the ONLY thing coaches do is determine how quickly your players develop.

The player will still develop to the same eventual rating, it's just a question of how quick or slow, and I don't think the coaches make much of a difference.
