How will this proposed veto system work if the trade balancer is based on each individual owner's player weights?

Big negative 1 on this idea.

I'm also not thrilled about the trades processing mid-week. Sounds great in theory, but most of the trades I make I'm sitting at the computer for. Either I'm counter-offering with another owner or I'm on a chat session with them.

Once again, this would only apply to trades that would have otherwise NOT been allowed by the AI. Normal trades allowed by the AI would be processed like they are now, with no voting involved.

My only issue is when we have to wait 2 days for a trade to go through for owners would be that the last week of the trade deadline would become obsolete.

Also how about show the trade meter on trades, I understand it would be different for different teams. But show what each teams is. This also could help in showing if someone is tweaking there meter just to push a trade through.

I think the GM voting trades through is flawed.

Honestly who amongst us would vote YES to a trade that benefits a Division/Conference rival,especially if we put in a trade offer that wasn`t accepted,but the division/conference rivals was,even if the trade was fair to both sides?

My assumption is that everyone would behave as adults, or at least people old enough to be on the internet, and this type of petty behavior wouldn't happen.

Maybe I'm too optimistic about other people's character.

This begs the question of why we need a trade balancer at all. Especially if common IPs are blocked from trading.

The trades made during the draft.Will these by voted on by owners?This is something that has not been discussed.I cant not see this even working on voting during the draft.

My suggestion would be to only make trades during the draft that would already be allowed by the AI's balance bar.
