I'm sure we could come up with other criteria but heres mine:

Default future ranking 30 or below .. Player is removed

-and/or-

Undrafted and unsigned for four seasons.

I am not opposed to either of these.

However, I'm curious. Why does it matter if there are a ton of bad FAs? I never get to those pages when I'm looking for players, so they have absolutely no impact on me at all?

Has there been a situation for you when your experience has been negatively impacted by all of these scrubs?

You could argue that those extra players increase load times on bringing up the pages.

If a player hasn't been on a team for a few years he is more likely to retire even if he's young, so this does happen in that manner.

Exactly, I live in a fringe internet/rural area (Verizon is spotty .. lol). Anything that can help speed up the process helps. I do like in the new interface searching position only but would also suggest maybe including players that can be "switched" in?

Just for fun I did sign a few in L9 .. see what they can do at least in preseason ;)
