Punters should have some kicking ability, and kickers should have some punting ability.
Right now, these players are no better than position players at these skills.

+1 .. I have been thinking that also. Punters do go down during games (especially when you play the Steelers ;-)) to have a servicable backup in the kicker would be nice.
