I think we should get rid of it. I think we should draft and build our teams based on they key attributes you value for each position. I already do and ignore the overall rating, but I think most owners rely to heavily on the overall rating and not actually what they are looking for in their players.

You don't have to use it if you don't want to.
I would find it extremely tedious to not be able to get a quick overview of a player's overall rating based on the custom weights I have setup.

I don't understand this request. Overall rating is entirely based on your Player Weights. So you and I see different Overall values for the same player, unless we happen to have the same Weights. If you don't use them, fine. But why would you need to get rid of them?

I build my teams according to need after the initial draft, overall ratings don't mean much to me after that.

Big negative 1 from me. Since you use your personal weights to adjust how a player is rated overall, I find the overall absolutely necessary for making a first judgment on a player.

Agree that it's a highly useful shorthand way of assessing a player. I would miss it if it were gone.
