In cust 33 it shows Las Vegas (in division 3) as having clinched their division with a 4 game lead, with 6 games left.

only 6 division games a year they are 4-0 Columbus at 3-2 is the only possibility to tie them since the others are 1-3 and 0-3, since Las Vegas beat Columbus twice earlier in the year they win in case of a tie so even if Las Vegas loses the last 2 division games and Columbus wins their last 1 they will still win the division

If Columbus wins the rest of their games and Las Vegas loses the rest, Columbus has a chance to win the division with the best record. At that point, division record doesn't come into play.

that is true Las Vegas is 8-2 awhile Columbus is 4-6.

So if Las Vegas loses all 6 games left they would be 8-8.
Awhile if Columbus wins all 6 games left they would be 10-6
heck if they were to win just 5 of them they would be 9-7 still better than 8-8 that Las Vegas can be if they lost all 6 games they have left.
