There was a hold after the Int so maybe that created the bug

I just had the same thing happen.

Either the hold happened before the interception in which case I should have kept the ball, or it was after the int and my QB should have recorded an int.

This is actually a known bug, the game engine correctly handles a hold after an INT but the stats don't retain the pre-turnover data like they should.
