Is is okay to go over the player salary cap during the early part of the season -- Early FA, Draft, Late FA? I'm guessing that the cap is not enforced until the game stage of the first preseason game. Can anyone confirm?

Roster limit is enforced at training camp and each game stage, cap is not enforced until the first preseason game and is enforced at each game stage.
