I'm going to call BS on this. I find many OL that have high AC, decent ST, and good pass block, and that's usually what you need as long you have a QB that make a quick decision or scramble a little bit. The high AC and ST will help in the run game regardless of a player's run blocking skills.

Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, I'm not sure how much pure SP matters for pulling. I think that AC is the most undervalued OL skill though in both pass and run blocking. If you can get five OL that can fire off the ball and push the defender, you should find success running either inside or outside.

Your philosophy is very similar to my mine. I like the heavy man with the fs in cover 1 zone to guard against the deep ball.
