As of today April 17 if you have a credit balance of more than 5 credits, you will be able to join one new league per day without a reduction in your credit balance. If you wish to join a second league you will still be debited the 5 credits.

You will be notified of whether you have a free join available to you before you commit to joining the team.

Does this mean that we can play two leagues for free? Or that we'll eventually have to give up one league? I'm confused about the at least 5 credits bit.

You have to spend 5 credits to join a league. If your credit balance is below 5, you receive a credit to your account to bring you back up to 5 credits each day, which allows you to join one league for free per day. But if you buy credits, you don't get this bonus and when you join a league you have to spend 5 credits that you paid for. What this change does is remove the penalty for purchasing credits and then joining a league; if your credit balance is greater than 5, you can now continue to join one league each day without spending 5 credits. If you haven't purchased credits, nothing changes, you will still get a refresh each day so that you can join another league.

I'm confused

If you haven't paid for credits nothing has changed for you, you can still join or renew one league each day for free.

If you have paid for credits you can now join one league each day without using credits.

Obviously I need a better way to explain it when I write it in the official docs (when that happens) ...

In other words, your purchased credit doesn't get used.

I'm getting close to taking the dip, buying some credits and running two teams.

If I purchase 60 credits, I will get 12 seasons for free from my existing free team, plus 12 seasons from my new team, renewing at 5 credits per season from my purchased total.

Correct?

95% sure that is what the above posts are about, but wanted to double check before I get hassle off the ball and chain when she see's the money has left the account :-D

You can currently join or renew one team per day for free; if you purchase credits, you can continue to join or renew one team per day without using any credits, but can join or renew a second (or more) team for 5 credits each if you want to do more than one per day. The big perk is that you remove ads and are able to customize your team (in a custom league) and rename your players (in any league).

is there any plan to allow graphics to the game? Like a team helmet or player faces?
