Sometime 0 is 0, sometime 0 is not 0?????? Do you have a different evaluation for 0 on each position.
It's all based on a scale, 0 means the worst rating and 100 means the best rating. Speed and acceleration imply a base rating where 0 just means the lowest score available but doesn't mean so low that they are not serviceable. Sure, you should prefer higher scores, but 0 doesn't mean they don't move or can only walk. Most other attributes that don't cross all positions have a stronger meaning of 0.

Is this a sliding scale or a percentage? For instance, if I have a WR that has a SP or 100, does that mean he's in the fast group of players in the league? Where my WR that has a SP of 50 is in the 50% percentile?

I understand the rule when you say a 300 lb Whit 99 strenght is stronger of a 200 lb Whit 99 strenght, because you give a simple rule to understand.
But when you say that other position have stronger meaning and you are the only one to know. How I can play. All the number have not the same meaning.... Give a understanding rule.

I think his last post cleared it up pretty much. Global attributes such as speed, accel, strength, etc. have a base rating, and while a 0 in those categories may be the lowest possible, the player still functions at a pro level and may be serviceable. He's just at the minimum possible threshold for making it to the league in those specific areas.
Position specific attributes, qb arm strength and accuracy as examples, have a greater affect on player ability. A 0, or extremely low score, in either of these categories for a QB would have a much greater affect on their overall ability than a global attribute would.

At least that's how I'm reading into it.

4 things: 1. he had already answered the question, not his fault you don't understand plain english 2. bashing the site admin never solves anything and in many cases can hurt a game 3. JDB is not just the site admin, he is the designer and only programmer for this game and is making it in his spare time for us with no compensation at all (i doubt if the few dollars he gets off tokens from people who play the custom leagues even pay for the server, domain and bandwidth) 4. JDB is much more active in the forums in answering questions and responding to suggestions and bug reports than what i have seen in other games that have entire teams of programmers
