It appears a defensive holding penalty wipes out the INT, but the problem is the defense keeps the ball.

Am I missing something?

Yes, the Football.

A Defensive Hold should never end with the Defensive getting the ball.

The hold occurred during the return. You can tell by when the penalty indicator appears. There is a known issue that stats before a turnover do not get applied, that will be addressed soon
